The Otometrics Madsen A450 is a versatile, PC-based audiometer designed to support the entire hearing care journey, from diagnostic testing to hearing aid counseling.

Built-in workflow efficiency, the A450 features a Masking Assistant and automatic Pure Tone Average (PTA) calculation to streamline test setup and guide speech testing. Integrated hearing loss and hearing aid simulators help clinicians clearly demonstrate hearing loss and the benefits of amplification, enhancing patient understanding and engagement.

The FRESH noise stimulus enables more accurate counseling with soundfield aided thresholds, allowing patients to experience the real-world impact of hearing aids. Customized reporting tools compile all relevant audiological data into clear, professional reports for clinical use or patient take-home materials.  

This configuration is a PC-based, mid-range audiometer two calibrated transducers (insert earphones and TDH39 headphones) and ideal for busy clinics focused on both testing and dispensing hearing instruments.
