The first Auracast™ installation can create lasting community impact. Follow the steps below to turn one venue into a working demonstration of better hearing - building awareness of the technology and your reputation as a local hearing expert with a little preparation and modest ongoing effort.

Becoming a trusted local resource starts with firsthand experience. Purchasing an Auri transmitter lets you learn Auracast™, demonstrate its benefits, and potentially donate it for your first community installation.
Auri's straightforward setup and ease of use make it a practical starting point Add a receiver with headphones to show decision makers how visitors without Auracast-enabled personal devices can also access the audio.

Make a list of places where your community gathers to listen, learn, or connect. Identify venues where clearer access to presentation, programs, or performances could benefit patrons. For your first installation, start with a manageable space that regularly uses amplified audio and has and existing sound system - ideally somewhere you or your practice already have a connection. Consider:
- place of worship
- senior living communities
- theaters and performing arts
- schools, colleges, and universities
- local government facilities
- museums and cultural centers
- libraries

Check the venue's website or call to identify contacts responsible for visitor experience or accessibility. Prepare a 30-second introduction explaining how Auracast can improve participation and enjoyment, then invite them to experience the benefits through a brief demonstration.

A live demonstation helps decision makers understand Auracast and experience its benefits. Bring an Auri transmitter connected to a microphone, Auri receivers, and compatible listening devices. Use handouts to explain how it works and the benefits for the venue and its patrons. Visit Oaktree's Auracast Resource page for presentation and marketing materials you can download and customize for your practice.

Work with the venue's AV or IT staff to select the appropriate Auri transmitter model (analog or Dante-enabled) and determine how many are needed. Bring your Auri demonstration transmitter and recievers to evaluate audio connections and coverage. Planning together supports a smooth installation and reliable listening experience.

Display the included Auri signage prominently so visitors know Auracast is available. Help venue staff promote it through their website, newsletters, social media, and advertising, highlighting your practice's role. Share the story with local news outlets and encourage patients with compatible hearing aids to visit and share their experience.
Help the venue register its Auracast location with the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (Bluetooth SIG), which overees Bluetooth standards and branding and provides resources for participating venues.
