Natus Otometrics 1066 Madsen Astera 2 with ACP & High Frequency

Product Code: 8-04-13402-ACP

The Otometrics Astera 2 is a state-of-the-art, PC-based, two-channel clinical audiometer designed for precision, flexibility, and efficiency.  It offers three intuitive control options: the Audiometer Control Panel (ACP, included), standard PC-mouse/keyboard, or direct touch operation via the Sunshine control panel feature.

The customizable Masking Assistant feature supports user-defined interaural attenuation values by transducer or personalized masking protocols. Comprehensive suite of built-in tests includes QuickSIN and integrated tinnitus questionnaires (THI, THS, TFI), supporting a wide range of diagnostic needs. Unique to its class, the Otometrics Astera 2 provides five speaker outputs, enabling advanced protocols such as sound localization and cochlear implant speech-in-noise testing, with flexibile signal routing to match your clinical workflow.

This configuration includes two calibrated transducers (insert earphones and TDH39 headphones) and the ACP for enhanced control, offering a tactile, audiometer-style interface ideal for pediatric assessments and for clinicians who prefer traditional operation. In addition, this Astera 2 offers high frequency audiometry (HFA) capabilities.
