Things to Know Before You Buy
There is a comparable product available that costs considerably less
The Resonance r16m is a portable, touchscreen tympanometer. Like the Amplivox 302+, the r16m offers tympanometry (226 + 1000 Hz probe tones) and both ispi and contra reflex capabilities at 0.5, 1, 2 and 4 kHz. The list price of the Resonance r16m is considerably lower, minimally saving you around $700. In addition, Oaktree Products manages support and service (including calibration) of all Resonance products.
