EarGripz No Slipz Double-Sided Adhesive Retention Pads (60 / pk)
Product Code: AG60
Patients who wear a BTE or RIC hearing aid know the moment. Readers come off and the aid swings loose behind the ear. A sweater pulled over the head sends it to the floor. Each time, a device that cost thousands is at risk.
EarGripz is a soft, pre-cut foam pad with adhesive on both sides. The center sticks to the housing of the aid, the part that rests behind the ear. One wing sticks lightly to the back of the ear and the other to the side of the head. It needs no clip or cord. The new version comes on sheets of 30 with a single liner: peel back a corner, lift one pad by its edges, and leave the rest covered. The foam is thinner and softer than the first EarGripz. Foam and adhesive are made in the USA from medical-grade, latex-free materials. An audiologist founded Pehratek Products in Minnesota in 1979.
- Helps the aid stay put when glasses, a mask, or a sweater come off. Holds the part of a BTE or RIC hearing aid that sits behind the ear
- One liner per sheet. Peel back a corner, lift one pad by its edges, and leave the rest covered. Thinner, softer foam than the first EarGripz
- For adults, kids, and caregivers. A helper can put the pad on the aid each morning before it goes behind the ear. Good for small ears, soft ears, and ears that changed
- 60 pre-cut cross-shaped pads, 0.79 in (2 cm) across, on two sheets of 30. One pad per aid per day: 30 days for two aids, 60 days for one. For a small aid, trim the wings with scissors
- Made in the USA, medical-grade, latex-free.
- For a good hold, start with clean, dry skin. Skip lotion behind the ear and tuck hair up before pressing the wings. Keep the pad off charger contacts. Use a new pad each day
- EarGripz holds the part of the aid behind the ear. If a dome or earmold keeps coming loose, check the fit
